[Cookbook] Finally ready to inch forward

Hey gang,


So now that I finally finished with a redesign on the website it’s time to
get some feedback from you all. 

 

First, I’m really leaning toward the idea of creating just a plain old
cookbook. The reason is simplicity. The songbook idea, though conceptually
more interesting, is more rigid in the requirements and where we can take
this project. I’m still thinking that ultimately I’d like this to include
more than just Steely Dan inspired recipes, and that I’d like to include
contributions from many different artists. Furthermore, I’d like to create a
database of these recipes which will ease in the overall management of the
recipes themselves. 

 

Here’s a script I’m looking at customizing to fit the look and feel of the
banyantrees.net website:

Keep in mind this is a raw script that has had no customization performed.

So work *is* being done on this project. Once I’ve got this script in place,
it’ll be time to get started so be thinking about your steely inspired
recipes.
